Special-Purpose Mesh Generation for T-10 Parachute and FSI Computations

These projects are part of a research effort by the T*AFSM in collaboration with US Army the Natick Soldier Center. A special-purpose, semi-structured surface mesh generator for parachutes with extended skirt has been developed. This mesh generator was developed based on a similar mesh generator developed by T*AFSM for parachutes without extended skirt.

Fluid-structure interaction computations for a T-10 parachute with riser pull has been caried out with a semi-structured surface mesh for the parachute.
