Gliding Performance of a G-12 Parachute

This project is part of a research effort by the T*AFSM to determine the gliding capability of a G-12 parachute. The objective in this project is to study the gliding response of a G-12 cargo parachute to riser retractions/releases. We investigate how the horizontal speed of the parachute compares to its descent speed.
