Exterior Upper Surface: From the plot, we can see lower pressure on
the upper surface of the parafoil than the lower surface. Notice the pressure
approaches 0 (or atmospheric pressure) at the tip of the tail (x-coordinate: 1).
Exterior Lower Surface: From the plot, we can see higher pressure on
the lower surface of the parafoil than the upper surface. Notice the pressure
approaches 0 (or atmospheric pressure)at the tip of the tail (x-coordinate: 1).
Interior Upper Surface: From the plot, we can see uniform pressure on
the upper interior surface of the parafoil. This is expected due to
stagnation, as flow stop inside the parafoil.
Interior Lower Surface: From the plot, we can see uniform pressure on
the lower interior surface of the parafoil. There are very slight pressure
changes.
